IDEAS-
- Use Clint Black video "I Do" prior to Sacrament talk on Sunday
- Clay pots (after Morality) - have couples decorate, write names, wedding date, plant wheat grass seeds in potting soil. Each couple takes another couples pot at the end of weekend and prays for that couple.
- Couples massage after Morality. (guide them through massaging temples, neck, shoulders etc. Make them laugh at the end by working down the lower back and then saying "STOP, That's far enough!" Then switch.
- Have Priest/Deacon at rap session (if they can't make an entire weekend or day)
- Community enrichment- "Viva La Difference" video by Focus On The Family (www.focusonthefamily.org)
OTHER -
- Discussed convention and made travel plans
- Gallup Priest (Father Bill Welch) may be willing to travel (will contact him)
- Per Jack send Corporate Donations letter to "Web Audio/ Visual" Attn: Scott/Steve Webb
- Gallup- Castillo's have a "Forgiveness" enrichment they will send to us
- Per National Team all communities are to include Spanish team in their meetings/enrichments, etc.
- 2005 District Convention- Long Beach, CA (On the Queen Mary) August 12th
- District 5 leadership discernment meeting will take place - Nov 12th-14th
- Unit 1 leadership discernment meeting will take place - January 28th-30th in Salt Lake City
- Each LC must include a Finance Report in their Unit Quarterly report (account balance and quarterly summary and if community is current on dues)
- Crystal will look into getting Unit shirts (Polo or t-shirts) for anyone who wants one and for those who will be attending the convention.
