- 2004 community meeting schedule was discussed. We will not be having a meeting in July. Our next gathering will be on Friday, August 13th and we will not be having a meeting, however will be having a "Date/social night" at Painters. Details to come. September meeting will be an "Info/recruitment night" at Penderghasts and October meeting will be a Visions workshop.
- We did not workshop our Visions talks as their was not enough attendance at the meeting. We will attempt to workshop at the October meeting.
- Please email Crystal a list of companies that we should send the Corporate Donations letter to. She needs the company name, address, contact name and contact phone number. THANK YOU!!
- Although not present at the meeting, we recognized Karen Penn for her referral to Alphagraphics Corporate Training Center who is donating printing services to us. To put this into perspective, it would have cost us $671.34 to have 150 notebooks printed and put together for us (not including paper and binding supplies). Instead it cost us less than $50 (cardstock paper for front and back of notebooks and black comb binders). We also had the paper (for the insides of the notebooks) donated. So again- THANK YOU KAREN!!!!! :) I will deliver her thank you gift in person ASAP.
- Discussed pilot program for National registration software program
- Discussed presenting team permanent, plastic, pin-on nametags. Will be ordering them soon.
- Thanked Cathy Cherry for her new recruits - Frank & JoAnna Pedroza. They will be observing the July weekend and begin workshopping their Junior talks.
