- May Meeting Recap

• ORC looking for Junior Team to help on the committee
• Phoenix and Gallup are doing a workshopping meeting if any experienced couples are interested in helping out (details have been mailed out recently).
• Phoenix needs a Junior Couple for 8/7 weekend
• Next Unit Meeting is tentatively scheduled for 8/27 in Albuquerque. Is anyone interested in going in place of Pedrozas?
• Who has any interest in going to the National Convention in October?

4. Larkins – maybe

• Albuquerque needs a junior couple for 11/20-11/21 weekend

- Presenting Teams calling couples prior to the weekend: This May was the second weekend that we tried this. Cherrys called all the couples and thinks it’s a good idea to continue.

- Hosting Signup: Larkins volunteered to host June and will invite “the fly-fishing guy” from the last weekend. They asked that Lazinksis also come to help them with the room assignments. We still need couples to sign up to host the remaining weekends. Pedrozas will send out a reminder email.

- Father Brock is scheduled to “present” August weekend.

- Retreat Center:

• We signed the contract for the September and November weekends at the retreat center
• Veola is checking to see if there is a priest available to say Mass at the retreat center during the September and November weekends.
• The presenting couples that are doing the Sep and Nov weekends can stop buy pretty much anytime to look at the facility.
• Saturday Breakfast: we will most likely provide bagels/coffee/etc
• Sunday Breakfast: working with Wriggles to see what they can provide

- Hosting and Check-in Time Change:

• For future weekends, host couples should be at the hotel by 6p. We are changing the confirmation letter to indicate that the couples should arrive at the hotel to check in between 6:30p and 7p. This should give the host couple time to get to the hotel, set up, and make room assignments before the couples start to arrive. It also gives the couples a little more time to grab something to eat on the way. Knowing that there will still be couples who come a little late, it should allow the weekend to start by 7:30p at the latest, possibly as early as 7p. The couples attending the meeting were all on board with this change, if there are any questions or concerns, please let us know ASAP.

- Nuts and Bolts:

• Pedrozas will update the flyer for the hotel with current info.
• Veola will update/modify the flyer for the retreat center weekends.
