Fr. Bussen was diagnosed with prostrate cancer earlier this year (I wasn't sure if it was a general announcement, therefore didn't say anything. But it appeared in the newspaper a few days ago.)
At any rate, he had surgery this morning and came through very well. He is at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, NY. Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery.

"What's a blog?" you ask
Well... check out Blogger's home (www.blogger.com/start) and Wiki (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog) for some good background on blogs.
My hope is that this will be a place that we can better communicate some things within the EE community. Announcements about upcoming events, news about weekends, suggestions about new ideas, etc. One immediate advantage is that everything posted here is archived and can be easily searched.
Currently, this blog is restricted so that only individuals who are explicitly invited to view the blog are able to.
Another thing, currently, this blog is also restricted as far as who can post to it.
Both of these restrictions can be easily modified. Send me here an email if you'd like some changes.
