August 2003 - Community Meeting Minutes

- Update on Recruitment Party- Flyers have been faxed/emailed to Parishes and IC. Veola is having the flyer translated to Spanish and that community is going to disperse to appropriate Parishes and will be attending party with us.

- Unit leaders have passed the word down that each community needs to create a yearly auditing process. We agreed to create a board to handle that process- Fassler's, Painter's, Burchett's. They will bring audit plan to the next meeting for approval.

-We discussed Evaluation Forms. Some like, some dislike the forms, so we agreed to put a folder in the gray file box full of evaluation forms for those couples who would like to hand them out at the end of their weekend.

- Advised community of notebook changes- New questions from National, adding suggested resources document, new ongoing questions, and some visions packet items. New notebooks will be printed for September weekend.

- Penn's asked to pass onto Unit, etc. that they would like the questions for the weekend simplified (language). Hale's will forward to District Leaders.

- It was recommended that we do a 6 month follow up evaluation on each couple that attends the weekend retreat. We agreed it was a good idea and tabled the topic for further discussion at our next meeting.
